Rithisak is a seven year old boy with spastic cerebral palsy. He has been receiving intensive physical therapy from Pheakdey and occupational therapy from Marguerite. When the speech team is visiting, they also work on helping him to produce more sound with his voice. He is obviously very bright, but very limited in how he can move his own body and how he can communicate. Safe Haven has facilitated visits to the local rehabilation centre to receive a wheelchair, so now he has the possibly of going for walks around the village and getting out of his house, so it definitely broadens his world. We continue to work with his family to make sure he keeps as healthy as possible and has the opportunities he needs to reach his full potential.
